[sdw2003] How to backup a Buffalo NAS ???

Yes, since then it will show up as a local drive.  But...

Modern NAS units are starting to support iSCSI, but it opens a whole
new can of worms.  Multiple machines cannot connect to them
simultaneously, which is what most clients are aiming for when they
get a NAS.  Then the data would have to be shared from the device that
is connecting to it via iSCSI, and at that point, you might as well
just have a full blown file server, instead of a NAS.
