Good luck.  We've not had any issues with pre-loaded systems from Dell with SBS2K8 but we do our own installs of SBS2K8 OL on other Dell servers.  Best always to use the wizards.....

This is a new server from Dell.  I am did not run all of the wizards.  We
were not going to be using all of the features, so I did not think I had to
run them.  Now I am thinking that this was wrong.  I am going to reload the
server from scratch, and start over.  Thanks for the link.  I will make sure
I don't skip any steps this time.

Yes. It is http://connect on the client to run the wizard.

Andrew, we need more information. In particular, when you installed SBS 2008
did you run the required wizards after the installation completed. See

Rick I think you meant to type http://connect as this is SBS2K8.  I've not
seen what Andrew noted.  After logging on with a user account when the
computer is a domain member the setup process for Outlook 2007 is quite
simple.

Is the computer joined to the domain? If so, did you use the Connect
Computer wizard (http://connectcomputer) to join it. The wizard includes
setting up the user.

Hey all,

 

            I am attempting to setup and new Small Business Server domain.
I have all of the account setup, but I am attempting to setup one of the
users outlook accounts, and I get a popup asking to Connect to sites on the
server. I can not seem to figure out what this is about.  The user has
Outlook 2007.  Anybody have any ideas what this is about?
