Subject: [sdw2003] OT - Cisco IOS Upgrade

I have some 7204 non-vxr routers that I just installed 2port T1 cards in
(PA-MC-2T1.) The 7204 is using a NPE-150 net proc card, has 128MB of
RAM and 16MB of system flash.

I've been provided the min. IOS image needed to recognize the PA-MC-2T1
cards. I've formatted my flash and have the full 16MB free. I meet the
memory and system requirements according to Cisco's product
configuration online tool. When I copy TFTP to flash / slot0:, it gets
almost all the way, and will then randomly stop. The router goes
unresponsive for close to a min. Then will come back to the "Con1
ready. Hit Return to continue" prompt, at which point I do, login,
enable, and dir the flash. No file is there, but the space is used and
if I do a show flash I see the file marked as deleted.

Clearly this file is failing during the copy and caused the router to
reset. I've tried 3 different brand new routers, 3 different flash
cards, different memory, different FTP and TFTP servers. If I go to put
the older 12.0 image back on, that will work. It's only when trying to
put the new image on.

Anyone ever see anything like this??
