It is sad. I occasionally lament the fact that there are no more mom
and pop computer shops. It is an industry which has matured and
consolidated around just the big players now. There really isn't even
a whole lot of point in price shopping for stuff anymore. It's mostly
all cheap and priced about the same now anyway. On the other hand we
now have massive amounts of processing capability and storage etc. for
very reasonable prices. This would probably not have been possible had
the mom and pop model continued.
