I feel your pain.  I had to suffer for a while trying to figure out how to
tell the OS to switch
to the D drive before running a command and Nobody on this list seem to know
until I learned
that you had to do "cd /d d:\"

That is the moment I wish I had the 'man' command.

The way I got mine command to work on a regular basis was:
1) set up your command/s in a bat file
2) set the bat file to run as a schedule task

This might not be the recommended MS way to do it but it is the way I got it
work for me.
