[sdw2003] Residential VOIP? Vonage, Skype, etc?

We switched from Speakeasy DSL (Business) to Cox (Business) a couple months ago (at my home). Both are good. Better technical support from Speakeasy. No issues with Ooma. Did have to call them when I got the Scout and have them check the MAC address for it. The one on the unit was not correct but they could check it remotely. Power cycle the unit and all worked.

The thing with Skype is having to use their handset. I like the idea of
being able to reuse my own handset. I am also thinking of changing my
Internet Provider (Broadband) from ATT DSL to Cable, probably Cox. Does
this sound like a smart move in preparation for Ooma or another VOIP
Solution?
