I used Vonage for a long time at my house and I loved the service. I
never had any service issues with it and it always worked really well.
The only thing I did not like is they were able to sneak some fine print
into to deal w/o me catching it that made it more difficult to cancel
when I needed to. They basically wanted to charge me the install fee
that they waived initially as part of the deal since I was leaving less
than a year or 6 months or whatever it was, I forget. I wasn't
canceling because I had any problem with the service, I just decided to
go all mobile. I was able to get them to waive the fee they were trying
to tack on when I was canceling but it was a huge hassle to do that and
took a lot of yelling. So the service is great, just watch out for
hidden gotchas.

Subject: [sdw2003] Residential VOIP? Vonage, Skype, etc?
Hello Group,
Anyone have personal experience going VOIP at home? I am looking at
Vonage and they have a great International Plan of free fifty free which
would save us bundles since my wife calls TJ all the time. The problem
is, I am seeing a lot of unhappy customers on the reviews I pull up on
Google. Anyone got any input on this?
