Google is really missing a opportunity with publishers. Google should offer to implement the adwords on publishers site and offer to share the revenue. Even if Google offers the publishers a a big share it's still a win win for Google. After all this web and people don't like to look at a bunch of annoying banner ads.
Part
of the problem is that Eric Schmidt has been unwilling to share ad
revenue. When in actuality Google would have been gaining more
advertising revenue if they implemented a adword system for publishers.
In doing so Google would be doing the publishers a service at very low
cost to Google.
