How is outlook configured to access the server?

You can transfer all the email from one laptop to the other just by
copying the .pst file.

Subject: [sdw2003] Moving Outlook

I have an old Windows XP laptop with Outlook 2003, and a new Vista
Business laptop with Outlook 2007. I had another Vista laptop, and was
using Outlook on it, and it got stolen. So I set up Outlook on the XP
laptop, and everything seemed to be just fine... all of my mail was
there, at least in folders. I'm not certain about the Inbox. Now, I
have this new Outlook set up on Vista. In it, I can see all of my
deleted mail, all of the mail in folders, etc. But the mail in the
Inbox of the old laptop is not coming over.

1) How can I get all the mail in the Inbox of the old laptop to move
over to the new laptop?

2) Is there anything I can set to make sure that all mail stays on the
server, rather than (apparently) being downloaded to the laptop? I've
noticed this before with OWA... when I use OWA, I see new mail, but not
older mail that's still in my Inbox. Then, when I log on with Outlook,
the mail I saw in OWA gets sucked down, and it's gone. But if I move it
to a folder, I can see it in OWA again.

Ideally, I'd like OWA and any and all Outlooks to always see the same
thing.
