Google states that Chrome OS will run only web apps and is designed
primarily for Netbooks. So this means that wireless access must be
available for free or at little cost everywhere. Now consider that
Google is coming with it's own phone soon. So since Google owns a lot
of dark fiber, perhaps they will trade network access with the cell
phone companies. So there is some possibility that Google might
possibly dramatically step up it's investment in Clearwire to spur
deployment of Wimax.
