Doo-daa - give them a script that adds an entry to their host file

smtp.west.cox.net your.internal.smtpserver.ipaddress

Set your server's SMTP relay restrictions accordingly

If they're bringing in laptops, they'll need a script that extracts that entry from their host file when they leave the building.

Otherwise, they're stuck with webmail.west.cox.net or you can add Cox High-Speed Internet service to your facility <:^)

Subject: [sdw2003] sbcglobal DSL and smtp.west.cox.net Do Da

My users who have cox.net ISP have no problems with email other than when
they connect on our ATnT DSL line.

They can receive email but can't send.

I can Prove that the laptop works.
I can prove that COX works.
What I can't understand is why the ATnT DSL Service kills the outgoing
email.

I have talked with ATnT 2nd tier support. Their only solution is to use
their smtp server and authenticate with them. I don't need no
workarounds...

Solution Ho... but I don't have anyone left to call...
