I can say I've also seen that a few times in the last 12-24 months were
a corrupt email profile, always in my case in cached mode/OST, was
causing strange things to happen. Once Outlook would not connect to
Exchange server, even though Exchange was reachable and healthy, another
time strange behavior things were happening like you described.  I
tested by creating a new profile to see if the problems were tied to the
profile or the machine, then killed the profile and made sure to
manually delete the OST and then went in and re-created profile.

Hi CJ,

Had a similar problem.....couldn't print and couldn't even   
send an email.  Ended up being a corrupt Outlook profile.   
I deleted the Outlook profile and created a new one and   
configured.........problem fixed.  I'm not sure if uninstalling   
Office actually will delete the profile or if it keeps it   
around.   If you log in as another user to that same pc, do   
they have the same problem???

Today I realized that one machine outlook is unable to print html
messages, print messages and reply to all.  Also, I can't recall a
message.  I also uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003.  I am able to
print plain text messages however.

 

I really should know how to fix this; however no internet search has
helped other than trying this- regsvr32 ole32.dll- on the run line
unsuccessfully.

 

Please send any thoughts.  CJ
