[sdw2003] Lab resource scheduling software

J,

We've created an email object in Exchange Server for each "thing" that
can be checked out. Then, for someone to use that "thing", they have to
invite it to a meeting for the requested time period. If it's checked
out, then people here can just look online to see if it will be
available for their "meeting" or not. Exchange uses a download called
AutoAccept Agent to help with this, but as I recall, you're not an
Exchange user. Maybe the "thing-as-meeting-participant" idea will still
work for you, though...

Subject: [sdw2003] Lab resource scheduling software

Can anyone recommend software that can be used to track and schedule lab
resources? We have a bunch of servers, switches, and other various gear
that gets used by different departments, and contention becomes an issue
once in a while.
